Faith Missionary Baptist Church

Roy Neal Fikac saw the first light of day in Mexia, Texas on December 4, 1951.
He was not raised in a spiritual environment, but through the intervention and grace of God, managed to hear about his personal sin and the Saviour at the young age of 10.
It was in Victoria, Texas that he received the free gift of salvation.
Bro. Fikac, after many hard years of wilderness living, (so to speak) surrendered to preach on December 13, 1978 in a country (BMA) church in Moorewood, Oklahoma.
He was ordained by Moorewood Missionary Baptist Church and began his first pastorate at Central Missionary Baptist Church in Elk City, Oklahoma. The pastorate began there in February, 1979 only two months after he surrendered to preach. The ministry there lasted a little over two years, then he and his family returned to Texas.
While living in his hometown of Mexia he became involved with an idea to start a new work there.
Landmark Baptist Church was formed and it was through this work that he became aware of the MBA of Texas. It was through this work that the Lord called him as missionary pastor to Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Round Rock; a work that was officially established on August 7, 1994.
Bro Fikac married Elizabeth Latham on April 13, 1971 ( we call her Liz). They have been blessed with 2 sons; Roy Ellis Fikac (married to Jennifer Ingram), and Bartley Neal Fikac (married to Angeline Nerio).
They have 3 grandsons: Travis, Cameron and Canon; and one grand daughter; Kynadie.
Bro Fikac and Liz have made their home in Round Rock; not far from Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
